Problem sending mail from hotmail, I Used the wright configuration ;)

Good morning. 1st of all I want to apologize for my bad english, I hope you can understand my post and help me as posible.

I've configured my hotmail acount in The bat! (Ver 4.2.10) as is suggested in this forum:

Send Mail
SMTP Server: smtp.live.com
Connection: Secure to regular port (STARTTLS)
Port: 25
Authentification: Perform SMTP Authentification (RFC 2554)

But it doesn't work. The log gives me a problem at connecting to server, appearing the next message alert:"No se ha podido conectar al servidor"

In Thunderbird I've got the same trouble with this configuration and I solved it using the next configuration

Name of SMTP server : smpt.live.com
Port: 587
And using autentication & SSL

But when I used this config in the bat! the console gives me the same problem :(

I don't know how to solve this problem, and I appreciate your help. Thanks

I am using  setting

SMTP Server: smtp.live.com

Authentification: Perform SMTP Authentification (RFC 2554)

with no problem, change language to English and copy log info from menu Account | View Log.

I have following log:

22.10.2009, 13:11:12: SEND  - sending message to marek.mikus@centrum.cz
<22.10.2009, 13:11:13: SEND  - message to marek.mikus@centrum.cz sent (524 bytes)

My logfile only gives me the next information (I clear console before sending the mail and I copy all the console content after the faliure)


22/10/2009, 14:08:26: SEND  - sending mail message(s) - 1 message(s) in queue
!22/10/2009, 14:09:26: SEND  - Could not connect to the server
22/10/2009, 14:09:26: SEND  - connection finished - 0 message(s) sent
22/10/2009, 14:09:26: SEND  - Some messages were not sent - check the log for details


Edit: Sorry if someone is confused about the name, I've changed it before my 1st message and it seems that the forum configuration doesn't change my name in all my posts. But I'm the writter of the first post of this thread  ;)

I dont know how we could help You, if The Bat! reports

check if You have hostname entered correctly and maybe check firewall

I've checked if the port is open, the firewall, and the hostname and it's all wright.

Any idea?
