Active Account, Setting the Active Account

Hi,

Anybody got any ideas how I set the active account in The Bat! so that when I reply to a message in a Common Folder, it uses a specific SMTP server by deafult.
I understand that I can change my account when replying to a message but it is an extra step that I would like to miss out.

I've had problems with this issue before and never really got an answer. I understand that I could make up a template with %ACCOUNT= but as far as I can tell, for multiple common folders and contacts, I would need multiple templates. This sounds like an awful lot of work for a simple request.

Any help would be much appreciated.

At the account proerties there's an option at the bottom of the general tab that says 'This account is the default for "mailto:" URLs'
You could try that. That was the account that wass called when I was experimenting with common folders.

Another option would be to use the %Account= macro in your templates, but in stead of creating a new template for every common folder, you could create an account template for your common folders.
Select a common folder and pick in the menu account -> Properties -> Templates
That used to be possible in the past. I'm not sure about now, because currently I'm no longer using common folders.
