Auto response with the same email?

Hello,

I am currently using the bat! for automatic email response for my sucsbribe script on my blog.

The problem I am facing is the bat! seems to spoof emails without me asking it to.... for example:

User sends email > The bat! gets it > Sends out the thank you for signing up response.

BUT! the email it sends seems to be different from the users email.

Is there some kind of fix or config for this?

Thank you, Dawn.

I'm not sure what you mean with "the email it sends seems to be different from the users email."
But I presume you've got a filter that sends autoreplies, that filter uses a template in order to define the text in the new message. See if that helps you.

Well like say I got an email from example1@hotmail.com
In the auto response it sends another different email example2@hotmail.com when you click the reply button.

I'm not quite sure whats going on.

In that case you're using a template that alters the address. Post the template that's defined in your filter.

I think in the template there is an option or a filter to capture the addresses? I have looked in the manual and have not came across an explination for this option.

Could you possible explain or point me to a page where it tells me what this does?

Thanks, Dawn.
