I'm running TheBat 4.0.38 on Windows XP, ServicePack 3, 1.5GB RAM.
It seems that my junk folder is corrupted. It always displays 129+X messages in the folder list, where X is the number of actual messages. If it's empty it states there are 129 messages in it.
I tried to compress the folder, but will get an error message 'Out of Memory', with my task manager showing an excessive use of CPU (60%+) and RAMs (600MB).
This makes me suspect that the junk folder is probably quite large ... giving me even more reason to get rid of the data stored there.
I'd now like to manually delete the junk mail folder via Windows Explorer. However, since TheBat is set to store data encrypted, it doesn't actually show the folder names.
How do I go about fixing my junk mail folder? Whether it's a workaround (deleting the folder manually somehow) or a fix to the compression issue - either would work for me.
