Setting color groups for the folder window?

Is there any way to set a color group for the folder pane?

When I switch from the folder pane to the message pane, I would like to have some easy way to tell what folder contains the messages I am currently viewing.

This feature is available for the message pane, but I cannot figure out if can be done in the folder pane, too.

to set a colour group for a folder right click it go to
Colour group -> pick
When a message is opened in a separate window, the folder it belongs to is displayed in the window caption.

Thanks for responding!

I don't think I was clear in my question.

Currently, when I sel ect a folder in the folder pane, it is highlighted (white text with a blue background).  When I move to the message pane to select a message in that folder, the folder highlighting disappears.  Because I have a large number of folders, sometimes I have difficulty finding the folder that I had selected.

I was hoping there would be a global color group such as the one for messages that would apply to *all* folders.  If that feature were available, then when one went fr om the folder pane to the message pane, the "Selected Active" color for the folder would change to the "Selected Inactive" color.

Over here it works just like you describe, that's TB's default setting. To be quite honest I don't know how to change that.

The best way to let TB revert to its default layout is by closing TB and renaming tbuser.def file in the mail directory to tbuser.def.old. Note that that also will delete any changes you created in the toolbars and shortcuts.

I tried doing what you suggested, but it didn't fix the problem. I even downloaded a fresh copy of The Bat! Professional, but that didn't fix anything either.  I am running Windows 7 FYI.

I also noticed that when I renamed the tbuser file to tbuser.def.old that no new tbuser.def file was created.

I think I found the answer.  I had to change the
Control Panel / Appearance and Personalization / Personalization / Basic and High Contrast Themes to "Windows Classic."  I could then see the folder highlighted when I moved the cursor from the folder pane to the message pane.

Can you explain detailed how you solved it?
I have same problem, but can not solve as you noted before. I use Win7 and TheBat5.

Thanks,
