IMAP folders from gmail to TheBat

i have gmail accounts.

i setup TheBat to access those email accounts via IMAP

the only folders that are created in TheBat are the gmail default folders.

i have created many other folders in my gmail accounts where filters there put email into their appropriate folers.

i thought the IMAP protocol would create those folders in TheBat but i find that is not the case. how do i get them to be automatically created? i don't want to create the folders manually on both TheBat and Gmail!

right click on your account
manage imap folders
reset list
close

should work...

I've made upgrade from version 4 to 5 and the problem is - the bat 5 don't get entire messages with IMAP. I have to click messages one by one to have it on my hard disk with possibility to read them when I will be off line.

Any suggestions?  :(

Set the synchronziation options for that account to 'download entire messages' in the imap folder manager

I have right settings set up - I've set the synchronization options for that account to 'download entire messages' in the imap folder manager, before I've sent my first post about problem.

The Bat 5.0.8 doesn't put sent messages in sent folder. I can see them only in folder 'all'. It's not depend on selecting right options in imap folder - selected or not I can see them only in ALL folder.

Ok problem resolved , if you have the same problem as above:

when you are using GMAIL and you have selected in 'account properties/for pre-defined folders use these IMAP folders' you have to unselect option 'Qutbox' too - not only 'send mail'.

Leave selected 'Trash' only - it looks to be fine.
