Compose message window positioning

Hello,

I am evaluating this email client for a number of my customers as a replacement for Outlook Express.  The version that I am looking at is 4.2.44.

The machines all run WinXp SP3+ 32-bit at 1024x768 32-bit high colour resolution.

The one problem that I am having is that when composing a new message the composition window is shifted off to the right side of the screen.  I can drag the window back to the left but upon creating a new email, the window keeps shifting to the right.  It appears that the programme is not saving the settings of the dimensions and position of the compose window.

Is this a bug, oversight or by design?  If there is any way to set these parameters, I have not been able to find it. Otherwise this email client seems to fulfill the requirements of my customers.

Any replies and suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

It isn't by design and I never encountered it for myself, but the procedure should be to drag the window to its proper position. Close TB and restart it.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.  I have tried dragging the window to the left, exiting the programme and then re-starting it, however, the compose window still keeps appearing to the right with about 1/3 off-screen.

Try opening a new message
Drag it to where you would like it on the screen then ...
Choose VIEW and STORE WINDOW POSITION

Hello,

Thank you!  That did it!
