How to add a new toolbar and icon

I often send attachments and am looking for a way to add an icon to a toolbar. So far I have managed to create a new toolbar but cannot find a way to add an icon to it. Also having added a toolbar it now remains visible although I have unticked it, and I also cannot delete - well I can but it is still visible.

By way of comment, I do find the interface very dated. I would have thought at least you could drag and drop the icons around.

Right click on an unused portion of the tool bar area then choose "customize"
This section is daunting, but VERY powerful
You can delete your toolbar from within this area

That is what I did but could not get it to work. The toolbar did not show in the customise table but was still present on the toolbar. However I found a way around it. First restore defaults which got rid of the toolbar, then delete the security bar and the attach appeared. Probably not correct but I achieved the object.

The second problem is that I cannot change the icon or name. At present it is labelled Mime-coded. I can change the label and icon in the customise section but after saving the changes nothing has changed on the toolbar. Restarting TB has no effect

You should be able to go into "customize", pick your toolbar on the LEFT column and see it's icons on the RIGHT column. From there just click on the icon you want to change and there are 2 buttons for changing the icon and renaming
