This is more than probably not a problem with The Bat but I was wondering if anyone can suggest what may be going on.
I have upgraded to v5. I have been a user for years and have always found TB to be ab excellent and reliable client.
Yesterdayt evening whilst I watched the TV and my PC sat unattended with The Bat running the following happened.
22:08 .... I received a spam HTML email.
A few seconds later this was forwarded to a mailing list I am sunscribed to. The original text within the mail was removed and replaced with the word TEST. It was sent in plain text. The Subject was unchanged apart from FWD added. The sender was now me.
Some minutes later I received the confirmation of the post back from the mailing list as per normal.
When I first viewed The bat after this had happened all three things were there. The original spam, the forwarded mail and the confirmation. All were unread.
There are no forwarding rules setup in TB or on the server. As far as I am aware a Forwarded mail needs me to select an address to forward to and as for the changed content.
Has anyone any suggestions as to what may have gone on there?
