Hello,

How to reset the mailing list or delete addresses written.

After running The Bat! just press your F8 key and your 'Address book' with all the different 'Mailing lists' will be open before you. Next expand the 'Personal address book' tree on the left-hand-side pane, you can now delete whichever 'Group/s' or 'email ID/s' you choose to, from your 'Mailing list.'

Thank you but this answer does not suit me, my personal address book. But for example if I write an email, you're not in my book but you will appear when I want to write an email to a mailing list. It is this list that I want to delete

Navigate to 'Options' >>----> 'Preferences' >>----> 'Address History' >>----> <untick / enable> 'Purge exceeding entries from history on exit'

By this method, all traces of unwanted email IDs are removed after The Bat! exits. However, if you wish to prevent these unwanted email IDs from getting collected, you may try the method in the following post.

To prevent the 'Address History' just untick / disable the options illustrated in the following screenshot:-

Please note, history refers to only those entries that are not present in the address-book - purging works on those excess entries (just as it is designed to.)
