Mystery template, Old contact details keep showing up in signoff

My main account shows old contact details when I reply to messages. This is quite a problem because I don't have the stated phone number there.

When I go Options | Active Account, I can click on the current account (marked with a bullet point) and it will change the signoff to my new one.

I can't find the old template anywhere. I've run through every template for every account countless times. I've searched the registry and done a text search across all files in The Bat directory. I've even searched for fragments of teh phone number in thebat.exe

Check the account.cfn file for that account, maybe it's set tpo read only (might have happened when you restored it from CD or something)

No Account.CFN file is read only and none contain the signoff that I can see (searching it in ASCII)

I've just discovered that it only happens when I reply to a message in the Intray. If I manually move the same message to another folder, it uses the correct signoff.

I'm using 3.0.1.33

Unless you're using altered folder templates, all folders should use the same templates as the Inbox.

Could you post your account template here?

The Account.CFN file? I'll send all my account files to support@ritlabs.com

Thank you for your help.

Sending anything to Ritlabs won't help to make me familiar with your problem as I'm no part of Ritlabs.

What I meant was copy and paste your your templates from Account->Properties->Templates to a message on the forum.

I click on Edit Quick Templates .. There are no quick templates there for any account.

Your account templates are stored in
account -> properties -> templates

The Inbox should use the reply template you've pasted above. Since you X-ed all phone numbers I can't see whether you're using the same (correct) number in all templates, but when you do, it's likely that something has gone corrupt somewhere though I wouldn't what.

In that case the only option I can think of, would be to create a new account with the same settings as your main account (and a proper set of templates). Exit TB, copy the account.cfn file from your new account to the account directory of your main account (after you've made a back-up of your original)
Start TB again, kill your new account and see whetherthis exercise has helped.
