Help..! Can't reintall!

Hi everyone..

So, apparently I'm dumb or something..

Win7 running the latest version of TB pro.. Looked up and found instructions to get rid of the logon password i never wanted in the 1st place..

Uninstalled, moved the data dir elsewhere and ran CCleaner..

Now, when i reinstall, it keeps telling me it can't find the original pwd dir.. I deleted everything and thought i removed all remnants but apparently i was wrong..

Now i can't even get it to run and it just fails on startup, complaining about the old dir missing.

This sucks.. any ideas?

second post..

OK,, i put the data dir back where it goes and it's running again.

now on to the original issue..  I tried (and failed) to remove the current version since it has the nagging log on password enabled and there doesn't appear to be any way to remove it..

I can't imagine how a program as advanced as TB hasn't got an option to change or remove a log on password.. Isn't that programming 101?

Aren't we all taught to change passwords regularly?  Well, apparently TB programmers didn't feel this was essential?  

Anyway, now it's back to where i was, so anyone got current info on removing the password?  The only stuff i could find is from a long time ago.
