no auto-complete with history addresses ?!, no auto-complete with history addresses ?!

windows seven ultimate

There is no auto-complete in a new message in the field " TO: ".

in option/preferences/address history, i check outgoing/incoming mail, i check all account then scan then 12 months (1300adresses seems to be added), i also check include subfolders and scan automaticaly.
i doesn't check limit history.

?!?!

the only adresses that go on the TO: are adresses in the adress book ! ...

:-(

i tried delete Account.his but don't work ...
HELP!.

Can be configured at:
Options -> Preferences -> Viewer/Editor -> Message Headers -> Select "To:" -> Edit -> Editing

don't work ?!

already checked :
use separate
display-history+all adress book
complete-history+all adress book

i have unchecked, restart TB checked restart TB and no way ...

I can only say that it's working just fine over here.
However, your deleting of the account.his might mean that there's no history present.
Another point is that the history is account specific, just tried that. Sent a message yesterday to somebody not in my address book, his name is in the auto-complete of that account, but not in the auto-complete of other accounts.

peraps that can help :

i tried to delete Account.his and there is no regeneration ?!

install program in e:\program files\the bat!

but i semms to have some files in c:\program files\the bat!

when i search for files modified after the creation of history in e:, there is nothing (some account.cfn ,*.log, *.M_D, *.M_R, crypted and for me not history files)

but in c:, Addrbook.ini and AddrHistory.CDB seems to be created ...

how install all program in e:\ and probably not have this problem !!! ???

i just try to put e:\program files\the bat! in preferences/general

i ask me to move files from c: to  e:\, i click OK, done but same problem...

i have just try to uninstall and re-install in e:\

The account.his will be updated as soon as you send new messages, but only with those addresses.

Uninstalling and installing TB won't help, because the data won't be altered.

That you've got some stuff on C: and E: means that you've been altering default locations, so I can't really help on that area.
My address book files are located in my mail directory (even though my mail directory isn't in a default location) and that should be the default. AFAIK that's the way it was since TB v1

i tried to send a mail to a not adress book,
Account.his add this adress and it is on the suggestion after ...

still has the problem with old history adresses ...

i tried to part of zero :
reinstall in c:\, delete all registry RIT\
import just one account mail in e:\

can anyone make this (save your files before)
delete all your adress book
delete Account.his (on all account)
generate an history addresses file (option/preferences/history)
and test the auto-complete mail field "TO:"
tell me if a mail appear ? (for me not)

i test on an other computer (XP) and my problem is still there
i ask you for that because i think that is a real bug but that seems not to be discover because there is:  :cry:
1) the account.his that log mails from all NEW outgoing and incoming mails (that works)
2) many adresses needed are in your address book

- the problem is loging mails from all OLD outgoing and incoming mails (that doesn't works)
