Upgrade to 5.1?

I have a license that is valid up to TheBat! version 5.0.99. And now when version 5.1 has been released, my license won't work anymore, right?
But how do I upgrade it? At what cost?

Did a few upgrades to 5.0x versions and subsequently downgraded back to v4 because of numerous problems. RITLABS just never got v5 right, and now they want me to pay for 5.1???

No thanks. I paid for V4 and RITLABS isn't getting any more of my money.

Well, that was not much of an answer to my post...

I am using the latest version and LOVE it. Are there still some bugs? YES, do they need to work on the HTML editor next? YES. Will it ever be perfect? NO. They keep improving it and when you fix one thing, often other things "break"

They have fixed IMAP. Are there still some things popping up? YES, but they are related to certain services for the most part.

I have all the graphics allowed and am in a lot of graphics groups. Occasionally have a crash which I THINK is due to the graphics. Not so much in the latest build.

I push some areas to the limit, and still love the Bat

I guess I am an average user (six accounts with assorted protocols, approx 20,000 messages, around 100 filters) but I don't have problems with it crashing.  Yes, there are annoyances, there are things missing (most of all decent help and manual) and, with new releases, occasional new bugs.  But the features it offers - particularly in filtering and templates - far outweigh any disadvantages.  It is still a long way in front of its nearest rivals.

So you think it's worth the upgrade from 5.0.36?

I certainly do. And I DO get an occasional crash due to loading ALL graphics, but not that often.

Is it a work in progress? YES, but it is worth it as they are always fixing issues and adding features.
