Re-Fetch some messages from the server, Re-Fetch some messages from the server

Hi, Sorry if this has been answered before.

Somehow I just lost about 2-weeks worth of my client-side inbox messages.  Copies of these messages are still on my mail server.

Is there a way I can tell The Bat! to re-fetch, say, the last 300 messages, or to re-fetch some subset of messages from the server?

Thanks!  Great product, I love it, but I can't seem to figure a way to reset The Bat! to re-download these messages for me.

Cheers!

Try the mail dispatcher.

Account -> dispatch mail on server -> All messages

Check the receive bit for those messages you'd like to receive and then press the receive button

For some reason that doesn't work for me.  I'm using gmail and there's no connection problems because it'll download new messages just fine.  But when I try to use the Dispatch option to download all messages, it just tells me there are 0 messages in the mailbox and 0 new messages when I can go to gmail.com and see that I have at least 30 stored in the inbox.
As soon as I can find a solution to this problem I think I'd like to buy the program, but not until then.

This is not a problem with The Bat; other mailers behave the same way. It's the way Gmail is designed. Once you download a message by POP, even though the Web interface still shows messages, the messages are no longer available to your POP client.

It's possible that if you change the Gmail Settings at "Forwarding and POP" to "Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)" you might be able to download them again.
