Automatic update check ??

Quote
The Bat! v5.3.4 changelog:
* "Check for updates when The Bat! starts" option has been moved from the stand-alone tab in the "Preferences" dialog to the "Confirmations" section
Now, this is confusing..
From reading the changelog, one should think that you can disable automatic update checking from the "Confirmations" section.
..But all logic would dictate that by unchecking the option from there, The Bat! will check for updates without asking for permission!
So, which one is it?

You did understand the changelog incorrectly maybe. If you uncheck the option, The Bat! would never automatically check for updates. You can go to Options|Preferences|Other options|Confirmations and see what happens there.

The reason of this change is that if you uncheck it from the query confirmation window, you will later be able to go to Options|Preferences|Other options|Confirmations and turn it on.

Actually, this means that I understood the changelog correctly.

However, since this option is located under "Confirmations" it's impossible to know what checking/unchecking it will do..

I still think that logically, by unchecking any option in that window, The Bat! will just go ahead and perform the task without asking the users for their permission.
