No sound with new incoming mail/can't set standard

Hello,

After 'being away' for a few years I re-installed The Bat. I spent some time configuring everything but I can't find the option  "Play sound when new mail arrives". Also no 'sound file' in The Bat (Program Files). Strange.
Is there still a problem with IMAP?

I've updated to the current version 6.3.2 but there are no sound options available for IMAP accounts, neither on folder level nor account level.
Any idea?

Both the settings (Global + Account-specific) as illustrated on my screenshots are certainly available on the 6.3.2  ;)

Also for IMAP accounts or only POP3?

Those screenshots were from a POP3 account - I don't use IMAP.

Therefore i've tested this - yes, if i use a Pop3-account, the options are available, and no, the otions are absent for IMAP-accounts.

Nowadays a lot of people want to use IMAP - it should be possible to have sounds for new emails also for this ones (like other products...) ;)

Oh yes, I agree wholeheartedly with you - the sound function should certainly be available even for Users of IMAP, as well. :)
