Startup page doesn't fully load

Just recently purchased the new version of TheBat after being a satisfied customer for 6 years now.  But here's my problem:

When I start the program and the splash screen opens and the start page loads, not all of the start page actually loads.  I can see a portion of the previous window (Website page) that I was using or my desktop wallpaper(if I didn't have a window open).

I have to click on a minimized window on the bottom taskbar and then click Thebat to maximize it for the page to fully load on my screen.
I hope I'm being clear.

Any ideas?  The block that doesn't load is in the block shape of thebat startup splash.

Nobody has any idea. It sounds like a screen driver problem or desktop theme/skin issue.

It's not a problem I've ever heard of.

I'll try re-installing Thebat because I've never had the problem before and have been using TheBat for years.

Re-installing didn't help; I've discovered that it is the start-up splash screen that's creating the fracturing or breakup effect.  Anyway to disable the splash start-up???

What I did was download an older version of TheBat, one that's worked without incident for me for years, and all is fine again.  It's a shame though. I shouldn't have paid for the new edition.

add /nologo to the shortcut you use to stat TB, should become something like:
"C:\Program Files\The Bat!\thebat.exe"   "/nologo"
That should take care of suppressing the logo.
