New & Lost?, Setting protocols for Sonic.net

Can anybody explain why two of my emails address are set to:
  • SMTP Server: mail.sonic.net
  • SMTP Connection: Secure on dedicated port (TLS)
  • SMTP Port:465
  • Incoming mail protocol:POP v3
  • Incoming mail server:pop.sonic.net
  • Connection to incoming mail server: Secure on dedicated port (TLS)
  • Incoming mail server port: 995
But to get the third one to send and receive I had to set it up as:
  • SMTP Server: mail.sonic.net
  • SMTP Connection: Regular (no encryption)
  • SMTP Port:25
  • Incoming mail protocol:POP v3
  • Incoming mail server
  • pop.sonic.net
  • Connection to incoming mail server
  • Secure on dedicated port (TLS)
  • Incoming mail server port:995
Shouldn't they all be the same?
Why doesn't the bat fly any more when I have new mail?

Using Win 8.1 Pro and Bat 6.6

I don't know why the third won't work with tls and port 465 for smtp. No reason on TB's side that I know of.

My guess is that the bat doesn't fly because you locked it at the taskbar. That's when it stops flying with Windows7
