I got suddenly a real mess within TB!

Hi,

first of all I've to say I'm still running the 4.2.44.2 Pro version that suits me perfectly...and that I'm French so please be indulgent with my english writting (espacilly technical writting) and I do apologize for the size of this message

yesterday when trying to change polices for the main window and writting + setting a reccurent daily full backup I got A REAL MESS !!

Never having to to do something to get the appearance I liked I tried hardly to configurate all this again..ans made worse !!

I tried to restore a recent backup..failure : "autobackup.tbk file writting error" !!

I tried with another backup I made manually : same error message.

I tried to uninstall TB! even in Windows (7,  64 bits) registry deleting the RIT key, then I install it again (after having rebooted my PC) and...got the exact same mess !!
I restored a ghost made this week-end...and got the same mess while my TB! was totally alright when making this ghost .

I finally gave up and passed many hours trying to configurate again the appearances of my general window ans the edition one...ans I'm still sweating blood on it :

So :

1/ how could I increase the size of the icon buttons in my main  and editing windows  that I got very small now ?
2/ how coul I get The bat! to respect the number of characters in my writted mails

3/ why is it impossible to make use of real and complete directions for use

thanks a lot in advance:)

nobody to answer me ?? :(

So I summarize :

- no user manual

- a very few people using this mail client

- and nobody to answer on the specialized forum

:(:cry::o

Just to assure that there are many satisfied users of The Bat! I personally have used it for many years.

Ok but :
1/ Do you think your answer is appropriate to answer to my questions... reminded twice...and without any proposition of solving ??

2/ I used TB! for 12 years and you ?  how many years before giving up ?

3/ why did you give up using TB! and for which another mail client ?

You've to know that in France, people using TB! were always a few but can be counted on the fingers of one hand  now ...getting tired of all its bugs and adopting other mail clients.

But I do want going on using TB!
