Deferred sending, How to stop a message in the outbox from being sent?

I think this deferred sending of messages, putting it in the outbox for a minute before sending it, is a great feature. It will open and you can edit or change send time/date using the menu or click on the clock at the bottom of the compose window. One thing I haven't figured out is how to easily see when it is to send. I know I can double click and then "send" again and a dialog box will tell me but it seems like there should be an easier way.
