Is there a way to automatically convert all my Gmail Labels to Bat Tags?

OK, so I’m wondering if there is a way to get all my Gmail labels to automatically display in The Bat!

I noticed that The Bat! has tags. Is there a way to automatically convert all my Gmail labels to Bat tags?

I just selected all my labels in the Gmail web interface, copied them, and pasted them into a text editor. Apparently, I have 629 Gmail labels.

Most of these Gmail labels are set to be applied to incoming emails via the Filters, such as these two:

Matches: list:(<cafetranslators.googlegroups.com>;)
Do this: Apply label "CafeTranslators"

Matches: fromthe:(customerservice@x1.com)
Do this: Apply label "X1 Search"

Note that all this Filter data can also be copied out of the Gmail web interface.

Anyway, before I go hacking, I thought I would ask here if there is already a way to convert or use Gmail labels in the bat.

PS: also just noticed that there is a very nice export facility in Gmail that allows you to export all of your filters into an XML file: mailFilters.xml

<apps:property name='label' value='CafeTranslators'/>
<apps:property name='sizeOperator' value='s_sl'/>
<apps:property name='sizeUnit' value='s_smb'/>
