SPAM Filtering, How to filter out SPAM

I get a mass of SPAM to an email address that has been out in the wild for about 20 years. I have struggled in the past to filter SPAM with TheBat! Is there an easy way to filter posts so that anything from people not in my address book goes to a "possible spam" folder please?
