Upgrading from 3.0.1.33

I'm using TheBat 3.0.1.33 and I would like to upgrade to 3.5. But... why do I have to keep buying a new licence? Isn't there an upgrade policy that gives me a discount or something?

3.5 is a free upgrade to users of version 3. It is a continuation of the 3 series. Only major version number changes (i.e. 3->4) require an upgrade purchase.

Can someone please provide me with a link to download version 3.0.1.33 Home Edition? I don't care for 3.5. Thank you!

and a link to a professional version too.

Thanks.

I've got a licence for 3.0.1.33 but after installing 3.5 it says I have a un-registered version that is only valid for 30 days... Thanks! NOT!

Grmbl. Now what?

This happened to me too. It was because I chose the default install instead of custom when my original installation path was not C:\Program Files\The Bat!\

If you still have the registration email, simply enter the same registration code again. If you have a backup, then restore - it includes the registration data.

Version 3.5 is still part of the version 3 series and any v3 registration code is perfectly valid for it.

That worked, thnx!

I chose the default install too but in my case TheBat! is installed in the default directory. Strange it didn't use the old registration...

It works now though.
