Any how to view backup mail .tbk file, Cant not restore mail back

Hello all ,  i have a serious issue here , i did a backup with The Bat! 8.8.9 on windows 10, after formatting the OS i tried restoring back .. but messages are empty ,  How can i view an important message please !

I'm sorry to hear that! Have you tried recovering your messages on a folder-by-folder basis rather than all at once?

In the distant past (2004) there was a utility named .TBK Digger that could read these files. I don't know if it will also handle modern .TBK  files but it can still be downloaded from a Czech website: http://www.thebat.cz/the-bat-professional/tbkdigger  (if you want to try it, you should probably work on a copy of your .TBK file only, to prevent any further damage!)

Yes i tried with folder to folder ,  still nothing.


the utility didn't work , not showing anything after i click open ..  Any suggestion is welcomed please!..

On my PC, TB! doesn't default to backing up all messages, so they may not be there unless you expressly specified all messages and all folders.  In future, my suggestion is to just make a copy of the mail directory with Windows Good luck.
