250 GB Data (235K emails)

Hi,

I have around 235K emails and it is 250 GB data in total.

My Outlook was very slow.

Can Bat handle this?

(it is in Gsuite)

On your question, if you are using IMAP, you can use the trial version and test for yourself. If you're using POP, the sheer drudgery of converting that much mail to TB! would be exhausting, as there is no automatic tool for that.  Speed would also be an issue for your mail server. Something to possibly consider might be to restructure the mail into archives to limit the number of messages that TB! would need to manage. Good luck.

I have about 150k emails and about half the data you have and the bat is still pretty zippy.  I am using POP.

Make sure you back up regularly!!  Maybe 123 rule!  The Bat lost about 4 months worth of email  from 2018 about a month ago and I did not have a good enough backup to get them back.

If you are using POP my advice is to keep the emails on the remote server for longer (days) than your backup interval.  That way you can always restore and download the newer emails (that arrived since the last backup).  The problem comes when TB deletes emails and you don't know about it.  Therefore you need to run a full "maintenance" before backing up and look at the result.

It is a hassle to maintain a large database.  I do, however, think that other programs suffer similar issues.  Hence I suggest you live with the housekeeping measures I suggest.
