I am running TheBat! 7.4.2 on Windows 10 on a Verizon.net account that is now hosted at AOL. It had been working seamlessly for a good while. Two other Verizon-AOL accounts, smaller, seem to be ok, maybe. Any idea what would be: Connection to host broken (last commands sent were: "RETR 9995", "RETR 9996")

Since my puter that does the email has 300k mail from that box, I am thinking of simply starting with an empty new install on my newer puter. I do tend to do that every few years anyway. On Eudora I keep both icons, the current and the archive files, active, just pointing to a different target data folder. I may try to do something like that with TheBat!. Make sense? (I would probably upgrade to 9.2 also.)
