cant receive newest emails, current emails not showing
 
hi all

please could you assist me.

i tried setting up my gmail account in the bat and all my emails show except the current 6 months. (newest)

the inbox folder changes from 7000 to 7500 emails whenever i try to update the folder. the number of emails at the bottom of bat always stays at 7000.

i tried Closing the Bat. Go to the data folder and find the account Open it and then open the IMAP folder and delete everything.

i tried,  Go to the properties of the inbox folder (Folder>Properties>IMAP specific>Clear cache now)

and i tried uninstalling.


before the bat, i was testing another email client called spike and that oddly enough only showed 6 months "current/newest" emails.
i uninstalled and removed all the old email clients but still cant get bat to show my newest emails.


i tried another email address and it works fine.


any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is folder with a new emails enabled?

Right click on the name of the box - > Manage IMAP folders - > Enable all the folders that you see (next time you can always go there and off folders that you are don't need to use with TB!).

i doubled checked this and all the folders are enabled but the "inbox" folder is not there. only the "all mail". not sure if thats how its meant to be?
all the other folders like sent and spam are working fine.


the previous email client spike only showed my emails from 7 sep 2020- 24 feb 2021. the bat is the opposite, it only shows my emails from the beginning: 2010 to 6 sep 2020. seems very strange.


is there anything else i can try?

no such luck.


when i try the maintenance center, i click check integrity/repair.
its showing 7 damaged files.
