Attachments problem, Can't separate attachments from inbox file (.tbb)

Hello everyone

I was using the option to save attachments to an specified folder, but now I am adding ad configuring an account at it doesn't work, I use the option in account settings, and also the filter to separate them, but account files and attachments are still being saved in the same file, as we use a large volume of messages, we need to be able to browse attachments for easy ubication of files.
Some mistake, some bug?

Thanks in advance

I haven't heard of this problem before. but I'm not sure that I fully understand the situation. Let's start with some basics:

- Is this a POP3 or an IMAP account?
- Which version of The Bat?

So, if I understand correctly, you want to store attachments not in the message bodies (in the database of messages) but separately in a directory.
You were using this option: "Account Properties | Files & Directories | Section: Attachments | Keep attachment files separately in a special directory".

What do you mean by 'filter to separate them' - what exactly does this filter do? Does it move messages to a folder in a different account? (In that case, the separately stored attachments would not be moved along with the messages).

Do you mean saved in the same directory? And what are the names of those account files? (Or do you mean that the attachments are still stored within the message bodies?)

When you use the "Keep attachment files separately in a special directory" option, you can specify the name of the directory below it. Did you specify the correct path there? Does The Bat (or its user) have sufficient access rights to write to that directory?

After you configured that new account, have you tried to restart The Bat, or to launch it with Admin rights, to see if that makes a difference?
