Multiple TheBat accessing same account do not download all emails

My client uses two computers to access his email, both running The Bat. Until recently, his email provider was Zimbra. When using The Bat in POP3 mode on both computers, the same emails were downloaded on each. And it worked like a charm for years.

However, after a ransomware attack forced him to switch to Gmail, this behavior changed. Now, emails downloaded on computer #1 using POP3 are not downloaded on computer #2, and they appear as read on the Gmail server.
Is this the reason they aren't downloaded?
Is there a way to ensure all emails are downloaded regardless of their read status on the Gmail server?

I haven't used TB with GMail, but running Message Dispatcher could help: https://www.ritlabs.com/en/support/help/67/#6615

Checking the Receive box for each message should force them to be downloaded again.

Gmail has its own deletion settings. See this discussion for some starting points:  https://support.google.com/mail/thread/72369341/deleting-emails-via-pop3-account-from-only-one-device?hl=en

Over time, many POP3-users who need to download the same messages to multiple devices (which only works if the one 'deleting' device is consistently used last) have switched to IMAP. Maybe that's an option for your client as well.
I volunteer as a moderator to help keep the forum tidy. I do not work for Ritlabs SRL.

Thank you, we'll see into it.

Thank you Daniel for the link. As far as I can tell my client doesn't want to switch to IMAP.

Nope, it isn't working: the Message Dispatcher doesn't "see" older messages on Gmail, only the ones that weren't downloaded, and therefore I can't force them to be downloaded.

See this print screen that shows only one message despite having used the "Dispatch Mail On Server" and "All Messages" whereas they are several on the server  https://drive.google.com/file/d/15BescuCqNbiZpVj8IePvITc8Z-1uhD4M/view?usp=drivesdk

Interesting... One more suggestion: when downloading new messages for the first time on one machine using the dispatcher, make sure to select only "Receive", deselect "Read" and everything else. Then check if the messages are visible on the second machine.
