Is it possible to merge two TB installations?

On my laptop I have TB! for business and personal email.
On my desktop I have TB! for music related email (I'm a part-time musician).

I would like to merge the laptop email/accounts/folders/etc. into the desktop.

Is this possible?

Yes.

In the TB data folder on the disk, every account has it's own subfolder. Copy these subfolders from one data folder to the other and start TB. If they are not recognized, do Account -> New... -> Restore From...

Alternatively, instead of manually copying folders you can use TB's Backup and Restore functions.

Wouldn't that completely overwrite the 2nd installation on the desktop?

You can select what to back up and what to restore.

In any case, I prefer the manual copying method since it's simpler and faster.

I think manual copying is not useful for merging accounts from different computers. Embedded backup and copy will be better because, as you wrote, is possible to select needed elements (mail folders and account settings).

Thanks for the help, I ended up doing it manually, per Milo's instructions, and got everything working.

Account -> New... -> Restore From... worked, and I also had to use Shift+Ctrl+Alt+L for some folders.

I'm good to go now.  8-)
