2 Installation Folders ?, 2 Installation Folders ?

Hello everyone,

When I installed the bat for the first time a few months ago it was installed in C: \ Program Files \ ...
Now after the update to the latest version, I was surprised why the programm still  suggested an update every start.
After that  I noticed that the new version also installed under C: \ User \ Username \ AppData \ Local \ with the correct version.
I have now created a new shortcut (on the correct version) but

1. Should it be installed in 2 folders
2. Can you simply delete the directory under C: \ Program Files?
3. How does that come about?

greetings

It's a good thing you figured out which is the correct version, otherwise all kinds of madness can ensue. If you want to clean up everything, I suggest the steps from the above link. I don't know if this happened during a automatic update, but I always recommend avoiding the automatic updater. Use the "NAU" version of the installer, and make sure it points to the correct installation folder. And afterwards recreate the pins and shortcuts you manually created before, as they tend to stop working even when the installation folder is the same.
