Hello,

maybe it isn't The Bat! problem, but Windows settings, try this:

Steps to Show Mouse Cursor While Typing
* Open Mouse Settings:
  - Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
  - Type main.cpl and press Enter. This opens the Mouse Properties window.
* Go to Pointer Options:
  - In the Mouse Properties window, click the “Pointer Options” tab.
* Change the Setting:
  - Under “Visibility,” uncheck the box labeled “Hide pointer while typing.”
* Click Apply, then OK to save the changes.

This is likely a display glitch. Try switching to Plain Text mode or changing the editor theme in Preferences. Disabling hardware acceleration or updating your GPU driver can also fix it. If not, update The Bat! — newer builds resolved similar cursor bugs.

There appears to be a fix for this in the latest beta v12.1.0.3: https://www.batboard.net/thread/16415-the-bat-12-1-0-3-beta-msi/
