Hotmail POP3 issue in The Bat 12, Unable to receive Hotmail email in The Bat using POP3

Hello, maybe somebody else out there is having the same issue as me.  I am unable to receive Hotmail e-mail via POP3 in The Bat, but It works fine with other email apps.

When i set up the POP3 account and test the incoming connection, I get the following error:  "Login Failed".  I'm able to send an email but not receive any email using POP3.  By the way, I already went to my Hotmail account and authorized "The Bat" and enabld IMAP and POP3 connections, so it should work but unfortunately it isn't.  Any help would be appreciated.

What are your settings for Receive Mail? Apparently these are required:

Hotmail POP3 Settings

Username: Your full email address (e.g., yourname@hotmail.com).
Password: Your Hotmail account password (or an app password if you have 2-Factor Authentication).
   Incoming Mail Server (POP3): pop-mail.outlook.com.
   Port: 995.
   Encryption Method: SSL/TLS (or SSL

In Account Properties | Options you could (temporarily) enable Verbose Log, and enable the Retrieval log under Acc Properties | Transport | Protocol Logging. Then try to retrieve mail and check the log files in hopes of better clues as to the cause of your problem.

Thanks for the detailed settings. I’ve double-checked and I’m using: pop-mail.outlook.com, port 995, SSL/TLS, and my full email address as username. I do have 2FA enabled, slope game 2 so I’m currently using my regular password — I’ll try generating an app password to see if that resolves the “Login Failed” error. I’ll also enable verbose and protocol logging to check what the server response says exactly.
