hotmail auth redirects to the wrong page

after using the microsoft authenticator app the bat opens this message  
This page is not normally shown and could be a sign of a phishing attempt. The URL contains your password. Close this page immediately and do not copy or share the URL with anyone.

when pressing open in system browser, it open a tmp file from the app data temp folder

That message usually appears when the authentication redirect URL contains sensitive data and the browser flags it as suspicious. Try clearing the AppData\Temp folder and make sure both Microsoft Authenticator and your default browser are updated. If it still happens, reconfigure the login method or remove and add the account again in Microsoft Authenticator, as the redirect link might be malformed.
