Message list density in 12.1

Message list density in 12.1, It's cramped

The list of accounts at the left is fine. No, a bigger font size doesn't help, neither does changing the font. Is there any setting to increase the row height?

Options -> Preferences -> Other options -> Use denser display of items for folder and message lists Roughly, what used to be "denser" is now "sparser", and the new "denser" is even more dense.
