Sort Threads by - Real Email vs Friendly name, Please Sort by Email address - can't control friendly names chosen

We can't control what friendly names people give us.

My email is Jesus@Heaven.com but when I sort by "TO:Email address" I get no usable sorting because people define my friendly name as "Supreme Savior," "God Almighty," or "Free Love Hippie of Israel" among others.  The sort threads by "to" uses these friendly names, instead of our actual email address of Jesus@Heaven.com.

Can we sort by our actual email address that we created, and NOT by the myriad endless nonsensical "friendly names" people generate?

Love the Bat!!!!  It's the most powerful and usable email app out there and I REFUSE to use anything else :)

The sorting option you're using is done on the To: header and not on the To: address, that explains the results you're getting and you can't change that.

Yes...I suspected as much.

So there is no way to sort by the actual address then in a threaded view.

Rats :(

Oh well, it just means lots more mouseclicks to find the scattered emails, but I still love your product! :)
