Hello,
I am new to The Bat! and am trying to get it working with my spam filter POPFile. My experience with the filter built-in to The Bat! is that it just isn't as accurate as my already heavily trained POPFile. Because of this it is a requirement that my e-mail client work with POPFile.
POPFile has a limitiation to the number of mail checks that can happen at once. This is mainly due to the language it is written in. I have 10 e-mail accounts. If I check them all at once with The Bat! the connection center shows connections to the servers hung up and they never go away. You can't end then, you have to kill thebat.exe. Very annoying.
Every other client I've ever used has a way to limit the number of mail checking threads used. This basically allows you to say "I have ten e-mail accounts but only check 3 at a time". That way when you check messages you don't run into this problem with things hanging.
Is there a way to configure The Bat! to accomplish this? I'm currently working around this by setting half of the accounts to check every 10 minutes and half to check every 15 minutes. This works around the issue for automated checks but I still can't manually say check all so it doesn't work long term.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
