reply template does not work

I have my reply template set so that the cursor appears on top of the post I am replying to.  When I go to reply, the cursor appears at the bottom, so I get to click on top to set the cursor where I want.  This did not happen on previous versions.
This is the 3rd bug that I have encountered that is ruining my enjoyment of The Bat.  I have posted the other 2 within the last few weeks and have not had any response.  When I send in a bug report I don't ever get a reply.  The Bat is now approaching more trouble that it is worth status.  I am going to try to revert to a previous version, assuming I can find one, or just give up on the program and move on to Outlook (yikes!) or Thunderbird.  Come on, what's the problem over there that you can't respond to these bugs?!

I can't reproduce your problem with the latest release, nor did I encounter it with any of the betas that I have used.

Could you publish the template that causes your problem? And also the editor you're using?
Do you force replies to HTML as text with:
Options -> Preferences -> Viewer/Editor -> Reply to HTML in plain text

As far as your other problems are concerned, this forum though run on a Ritlabs server is supposed to be a user to user support forum and not a place to address the Ritlabs helpdesk.
Generally not getting a reply means that none of your fellow users encounters this problem or has a fix or doesn't have the time to reply.
On checking the date of your other posts, I had guests so I didn't have time for this forum. ;-) Check them when I'm done.

forcing the reply to HTML as plain text was the answer.  Sorry if I was raggy, and certainly thanks for the reply.  I apologize humbly.
