Changing Default Dictionary

How do I change the default dictionary? The Spell Checker language drop down shows only American English. Under the Dictionaries drop down I have added SSCEBR.tlx and SSCEDU.tlx so I would expect UK English and Dutch to appear as language options. What am I missing?

Let me answer my own question. I needed to install the language pack, not just rely on the tlx files being present from a previous installation. All is now well.

What TB version are you using? When you've got an international pack for an older version installed, you might need to install the latest intpack.

Also there's been a version of TB that somehow forgot the installed intpack.

So you'd do best to download the latest version both for TB and the intpack. (The latter isn't needed for the pro edition)

I have the latest version of TB 3.62.14. My problem is/was self inflicted. I have two bootable partitions on the same PC. I keep all of my TB stuff on a shared partition that is mapped as E: whichever system I boot from. I installed the language pack on bootable System A and assumed that the dictionaries and associated defaults would be picked up automatically when booting from System B. Pretty much everything else in the way of settings, templates, etc., does get picked up, hence my assumption.

So when you boot from A everything is OK and when booted from B it isn't?
Is TB's program directory also found on E:? In that case I'd expect it TB to pick up the language files, because that's what it does when I'm using it here from another windows-user-account and TB's install only fixes the registry for the account you're using for the install.

Just see what happens when you install the intpack for system B too...

Sorry if I wasn't clear. Installing the intpack on system B was the solution. I had assumed, incorrectly as it turned out, that it was not necessary since the files were already there.
