I seem to be getting an inordinate number of access violations with the current version (3.62.14) of The Bat!. This happens frequently when the folder list extends beyond the open window and I try to scroll, and now it happens when I simply try to select a different viewr/editor. Is anyone else experiencing access violations?
It's not that I'm trying to defend the developers, but just mentioning that a version is shitty doesn't help a lot in knowing where you're experiencing problems. I didn't experience any problems at all with v3.62.14 except for the not functioning of new message templates and folder identities in common folders. A decent problem report contains at least your OS version, whether you're using pop3, imap, whatever. Proxy servers etc.
Apart from that, this is not the place to report bugs. This forum is supposed to be discussing configuration issues. Bugs can be reported at bugtrack:
You can insert bugs in the bugtracker, by logging in to:
Choose 'The Bat' and add a new item. First check whether someone has reported the same bug, then you can add a note to that bug. Bugs that are reported by more users are more likely to get attention than bugs by one. And the system isn't smart enough to understand that bugs might be the same. And add just one bug per entry. Makes everything easier, both for other users who want to add a note and for the developers.
