Can I control amount of e-mails sent at a time?

Hello!

If I have 900 e-mails in my outbox ready to send to my mass mailing list, is there a way to configure The Bat! to send 50 e-mails at a time automatically.  (If I send more than 50 at a time it overloads the server.)

I'm eagerly awaiting an answer.  Thank you!

No, you cannot do that automatically.

There is a manual workaround though.
Create a temporary folder.
Move 850 messages from your outbox to temp.
Send your 50 messages
Move 50 messages from temp to outbox
Send your 50 messages
Repeat this until everything is sent.

Thank you for the suggestion!

Why not simply mark only the first batch for sending and the remainder with draft flags until the server clears?  I had to do that for 5 batches last week and it seems a lot easier than all the movement.

Just as an aside, I trust that you are not sending SPAM, as we all commit to not use TB for that purpose.

Using the draft flag will work unless you're in the habit of having real draft messages in the outbox (yes, that's the place where TB stores them). That could cause the sending of unfinished messages by mistake. (Yes, I know sevaral people with the habit of improving composing multiple messages and sending them days later.)

Probably I'm missing something, but how I 'Flag' the messate to be a 'draft' message?

I try your way, but once I have all 200 messages on my Outbox, I could  not find a way to send ony few (or hold some of it).

The right click over all highlights message does not give any option to flag as a 'draft'.

Thank you
