Server Reply Error

Hi,

I have just installed TB and can receive fine, however when i try to send i get the server reply '5.7.1 Relaying Denied' can anyone help?

Apparently you need to authenticate yourself somehow to your smtp server while you're not doing that. From here I can't see what authentication method you need to configure, but you could try this:
Account -> Properties -> Transport -> Send mail/Authentication -> Perform SMTP Authentication (RFC 2554)

When this doesn't do the trick, then you should give more data like the server you want to connect to.

That's a rather odd response. Could you tell us more about the exact nature of your setup and your error message?

I use The Bat 3.65.03 Professional Edition. It was everything OK but yesterday this problem appeared. I use SMTP port 2525. I don't use any proxies or firewalls. When I try to send a message I get an error: server reply: email client.

Well, it still is an odd response.

Create a new account with the same settings as your old account and see whether you can send mail that way.
