any gmx users here? gmx used to work great with the bat....

hi, i used to use the bat to check my gmx mail accounts, and it worked great, until about nov of 2005, then for whatever reason it just quit working. i wonder if gmx stopped supporting pop, or if its a problem with my program. if anyone can offer any advice, id appreciate it.

I still see some messages from gmx users, so I guess it's still running. Just in case it's a problem with TB you could try to create a new account with the correct settings for your gmx account and see whether that works. When that doesn't work you'd better contact the gmx helpdesk.

"popping" pop.gmx.de works just fine for me - excatly which error message do you get in the log?

afaik you have to use plain pop though (no [START]TLS)

and make sure you use the correct "user name" - I think they changed to demand the customer number instead of the mail address some time ago... at least it would be worth a try
