Emergency Bat not showing up

This is a strange behaviour. while I was using TB, an error came up 'canvas does not allow drawing' and system froze. I restarted the system. opened TB, Nothing is visible on the screen except for the top file menu and bottom line. entire page is blank no folders, messages, icons , buttons nothing. I reinstalled TB but nothing. I am on Win 98 SE. Kindly advise urgently as all my mails are pending.

Play around with:
View -> Windows split -> ...
When this doesn't help, close TB, go with the explorer to your mail directory, rename the tbuser.def file to tbuser.def.old and start TB again.
When you're using OTFE (encrypted message base) the file is called tbuser.eef

What version of TB are you using?

Thank you so much! I've got this problem too! It scared me because I don't know what to do to make my emails showing back! Just a blank screen!
