From v1.62 to 3.0

From v1.62 to 3.0, Question

I was using The Bat v1.62 at first. Transport protocol was IMAP4. All messages I was storing locally. Before changing to newest version I did backup of all my messages.

Then I have restored all account settings and all messages to The Bat v3.0 At first all seems OK, but after first connection with email server with using IMAP protocol new Imbox folder appear. After some
seconds my all messages in other folders and subfolders disappear.
Folders tree was broken. Maybe reason of all it is IMAP protocol? I can't user POP3. May new The Bat V3.0 client work like V1.62?? Can anybody help?

The recommendation for migrating users was to convert all existing IMAP accounts into POP3 accounts and then defining new IMAP accounts to reconnect under the new scheme. I guess you never heard that and it wasn't offered. I always thought the migrate to v3 actually automatically converted the old IMAP accounts to POP3. I don't know - I only use POP. iviarck
