Question to current BAT users

I currently use Poco and even though I find it to be a very strong program, I find the support for issues and questions to be way below standard.  Can some current BAT users give me some feedback on support quality here?  Also, are there users that used to use Poco as well, and now use Bat?  It's a big change for me to move about 20 email accounts.  So I want to make sure it's a smart move.
I can be PM's or read/respond in the forum.
Thank You.

I'm also currently a PocoMail user, and am shopping for another client for the same reason Ken is - poor product support. I would be very interested to hear any comments regarding the quality of support for The Bat!

Hmm.... i never had used support of another shareware programs, so i cannot tell you difference...

But i have really great support on unofficial resources - discussion lists and forums. In our region TheBat very popular - mail client number one ;-).

Also sometimes I use official bugtracker and sometimes receive answers on my letter (from support and developers), and not for all of my letters to support team I have answers :(

There is web-service here to control requests(tickets) from users with notifications and you can see progress and your request's responsible person name.

BTW: I use unofficial russian resources, so i cannot advice something. "The Bat! User's Discussion List" (TBUDL) may be helpful for you.

P.S. Sorry for bad english.

I have used Poco for two years having migrated from The Bat. PM 3.2 is getting very flakey and there are some fairly stroppy moderators on PM's support fora, so I am re-investigating The Bat and I like what I see. Okay, there's none of the cosmetic stuff that makes PM fun but by the Hounds of Hades the program is so much faster and they've built in a lot more goodies since I used 1.62.

here's my 2 cents
I have found that support via forums is pretty good, but the support on the website below average, the search for support does not work very well.
Documentation is not so good, so you end up using the forums for basic stuff.
The Bayesit spam filter has very poor documentation, and some bugs too.

I too tried PM and TheBat. I think that for the way you use a mail client (20 accounts!!) TheBat will be more robuste. But I have to agree with Johnny Nui. As long as your problem is the same as evryone, support is good (I mean documentation). For other situations, your with yourself... and those very kind folks at Thebat's forum  :)

Thanx for the input guys.  2 detailed questions that I haven't been able to find the answer too....
1.  Can a mailbox (inbox or sent) be p/w protected
2.  Is 'forward email' an option in the filters.

Thanx again.

1.
Message base encryption will be available starting November 30.
(but i think it will be full strong encription, not only two folders)

Just now you can lock account with password.
( :!:  this feature doesn't mean real protection :!: )

2.
Actions "Forvard the Message" and "Redirect the Message" are avaible.

How about  "Try-before-buy" ?
