Only 8 characters allowed in email prefix ( before @ sign), Very weird ..... can't imagine that limitation is authentic

I went to send my first email, since I downloaded Bat V.3 Professional, and I couldn't type in the person's full email address. The Bat keeps stopping me after the first 8 letters of the person's email address before the @ sign.

Tell me it's not so ..... }:

OK. It isn't so.
I just sent a mail by typing a username of 11 letters before the '@'. I've never heard of this kind behaviour of TB before.
What happens when you insert the name and address of your contact in the address book and pick his name with the address picker?

I just sent a email to a user with 22 letters before the @ sign (by typing the name) and it worked ok, so I guess you're doing something wrong.
