Only 8 characters allowed in email prefix ( before @ sign), Very weird ..... can't imagine that limitation is authentic

I just sent a mail by typing a username of 11 letters before the '@'. I've never heard of this kind behaviour of TB before. What happens when you insert the name and address of your contact in the address book and pick his name with the address picker? __________________________________ I'm just a user of The Bat!
