importing eudora mailbox: quotes lost

I can import a mailbox, but all MY quoting is lost.
Eudora quotes like this:

<blockquote type=cite class=cite cite="">
quoted text goes here
</blockquote>

Quotes received from Outlook users remain intact,
looking like this >>.

Anyway to import from Eudora and retain the quoting?
Thanks.

This is still a problem, if anyone has
an idea about it. Without the quotes, most
of the my archive is very hard to understand.
Apart from the fact there are html tags
displayed in them too.

I've imported just one of my folders so I can
set-up TB, but I'd like to get this problem
solved before I import the rest.

A reminder of the problem: All instances of
Eudora's html quoting are lost during importing
to TB, so that there is no quoting at all shown
in the mails/replies I wrote. In incoming emails
all instances of outlook html quoting are retained.

Thanks.

Is it possible to export your stuff from Eudora to something else, like Unix mailbox or someting that TB an interpret correctly?
As I understand these things Eudora has a rather peculiar format.

As far as I'm aware, there is no export facility
in Eudora. Single messages can be saved as plain text
format, but I guess they want to make it as difficult
as possible for users to change to another client ;)

I had no idea that my messages were being altered when
I wrote them. I assumed that email clients would always
SEND mail with the standard >> plain text quoting, but
simply interpret the chevrons in their viewers
differently. To actually physically write the quotations
in non-standard html seems very silly!

I guess there is nothing I can do then.
Thanks.

This may not do it but email the author - he is a great guy and can probably either steer you or can make the change in his program if possible. Most of his other converters export to EML ot MSG files
