question html templates, emails in outbox and edit them?

Is there a way to park emails in the outbox, so that they can be edited and sent later, like a template?

I tried saving html messages in the outbox. Then I was able to edit them and send them later, like a template. Unfortunately when the message was sent the template was gone from the outbox. Also strangely enough, the layout of the email was changed when it was received. The pictures were moved to the bottom of the message as an attatchment.

Hopefully in next versions html is more embedded in the Bat!

You can "save as draft" but that will not keep it there - once you finish and send it, it is gone

What you want to do is make "Quick Templates" which can be used over and over again. The can be made to change the account you are sending from, add a subject with the date and time or be a complete message.

I belong to a group where I have to send out a zip file on a regular basis. I edit the files and zip them up in with the zip always having the same name. Next I open a new message and hit <control><spacebar> and bring up the quick templates. I have a quick template that sends from the correct account, adds a subject with the current date, adds the group who will receive it, then a bunch of text in the email and finally it attaches the file

Trying to create and use templates in the manner of Thunderbird or Outlook Express is cumbersome in the bat. Use the quick templates and you will find this a lot easier than the other programs
